It’s been awhile since we have reported on the blog, what with the holidays and all it has been a hectic time! Here is an update on the coffee farm in Costa Rica. The road is going in! Check it out!!!!

End of the long road and rounding the corner to the finca (farm).  Some of the posts for the living fence had to come down to make the road wider.

Down to the old shack (casita). We are in the process of tearing this down and building a duplex here for the workers to stay on one side and us on the other when we visit the farm in 2009. We have other projects for 2010 and 2011 for more building.

End of the coffee field and rounding the corner to the open pasture where the casa grande (big house), cabin and pool will be built in 2010 and 2011. We will head to the finca in April of this year of 2009, and will see our new duplex built along with the electricity installed. We’ll keep you posted! Until then, we hope you stay warm during the heart of the winter in the northern lands!
