Pure, clean water…where? Biolley, Costa Rica!

As we all know, the water supply in the United States is quite a concern. Many main water supply sources are polluted with dangerous contaminants or chemicals. An important concern and a must have when finding our retirement destination was the water supply. Here in the Talamanca Mountain range there is plenty of the purest water you can find on Earth. The Talamanca’s are home to peaks that rise 10 to 11 thousand feet or so. We also wanted water on our property and we found it! Our water supply comes straight out of the Talamanca mountains and rushing past the north border of our farm. We have municipal water too, and it is even better! It comes straight from the top of the mountain range down to our property. The Rio Platanillal is a main vein that runs into the Coto Brus and then into the Rio General. Plenty of fresh water, fresh air and beauty surround us! We hope you enjoy this video below:

We’re onto the farm full time in 2011 but on our way to the farm tonight after another round of working hard in the USA to get to our final destination. We retire on the farm in November of 2011. We’ll have cabins for visitors (bed & breakfast) arrange trips to the La Amistad International Park and sell organic coffee on behalf of our farm workers.
